Description
variegated Anthurium magnificum x crystallinum seedling (sometimes sold simply as “variegated Anthurium sp.”).
It has the typical heart‑shaped (cordate) anthurium leaves with mild velvety texture, plus light‑green/yellow variegation scattered over the leaf surface. Because it’s still young, the leaves are small and rounded; as it matures they will grow larger, develop more pronounced veins, and the variegation pattern will stabilise.
Quick care notes
-
Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid direct midday sun to prevent leaf burn.
-
Water: Keep the medium lightly moist but never water‑logged; let the top 2 cm dry before the next watering.
-
Humidity: 60 % or higher is ideal; these plants thrive in a humid environment.
-
Soil: Very airy aroid mix (orchid bark, coco chips, perlite, a bit of peat or coco peat).
With proper humidity and gentle fertilising, the seedling should develop larger, showier variegated leaves over time.
